Hummanoid Posted May 15, 2020 Posted May 15, 2020 Can't normally paste any picture from clipboard, us it was in previous versions. Pasted content looks alike it's opacity dropped to 5% with downsampled resolution. In example the shot of this page pasted into artboard. Quote
SPaceBar Posted June 8, 2020 Posted June 8, 2020 Hi @Hummanoid That does look very opaque. What version of Publisher are you using? Can you upload one of your files where this is happening so I can take a closer look please? Quote
Hummanoid Posted June 8, 2020 Author Posted June 8, 2020 It's not a Publisher , Designer. 1.8.3. The last one. bug.afdesign Quote
SPaceBar Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Oh yes my mistake, thanks for the file. I will take a look and get back to you.. Quote
SPaceBar Posted June 9, 2020 Posted June 9, 2020 Hi @Hummanoid Can you walk me through the steps you took to create the picture on your clipboard and pasting it into Designer please ? I want to try and recreate the issue the same way. If you could take a screen capture of the process with the option to 'Show Mouse Clicks' that would be big help. Quote
Hummanoid Posted June 9, 2020 Author Posted June 9, 2020 I did it 2 ways: just copying pictures form browser (context menu Copy Image to clipboard) and taking a shot with Moon snap for example. Quote
SPaceBar Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Do you also have this issue if you drag and drop an image into Designer? Also, out of interest what MacOS are you using? Quote
Hummanoid Posted June 10, 2020 Author Posted June 10, 2020 No problem with drag&drop. Catalina 10.15.5 (and previous either) Noticed that don't have such problem on Mojave, by the way. Quote
SPaceBar Posted June 10, 2020 Posted June 10, 2020 Thanks for the info. I haven't been able to recreate this yet so I have a couple of questions for you. a. When you said you use Moon Snap did you mean Monosnap? b. Do you also use the Mac Screenshot Utility - Cmd + Shift + 3? c. What monitor / screen do you use with your Mac? d. Has your device been recently connected to a different screen? (Even if only temporarily.) Can you try these 2 tests for me please?Test 1 1. Take a screenshot of this thread using > Press Cmd + Shift + 3 2. Place the screenshot on your clipboard 3. Paste it into DesignerCan you share the results of test 1 with me please?Test 2 1. Take another screenshot of this thread using > Press Cmd + Shift + 3 2. Save the screenshot as a PNG 3. Drag & drop the PNG into DesignerCan you share the results of test 2 with me please? Hopefully with this info I will be able to reproduce this. Thanks Quote
Hummanoid Posted June 11, 2020 Author Posted June 11, 2020 I don't know what's going on, but since I made screenshot with cmd+shift+3 everything became good. Every method, Mac screenshot, Moonsnap, Copy Image to Clipboard, works proper now. Kind of magic. Thanks! SPaceBar 1 Quote
SPaceBar Posted June 11, 2020 Posted June 11, 2020 That's great news and you're welcome. Thanks for letting me know. 🙌 Quote
