Image Trace in Affinity Designer

Recommended Posts

Affinity Designer is a cool program, but it has one significant disadvantage - there is no Image Trace function.

It seems that this topic was often raised on the forum, and the moderator even answered that the developers are thinking about its creation, but it has not appeared in a year and a half.

Do you plan to add it anyway? Otherwise, I don't want to switch to AI just because there is this option (third-party services and other programs like Vectornator cope with it terribly).

I second this. I've been using Inkscape for the time-being. It has a decent Trace Bitmap functionality, for inks anyway, and the program is open-source (free) on all platforms...

I’ll be trying out two free apps Image Converter and Vector Q. If they don’t work out then I’ll look into Inkscape. Thank you!
