Fotographer
How do I join two line segments together at the node? Also when using the pen tool is there a quick way to get to the node tool for editing nodes?
firstdefence
Use the Node tool it has a join option on the context menu just above the workspace. Depends which app you are in... Affinity Designer Just Press ‘A' Affinity Photo Just Press ‘P’ ‘P’ is a cycle key so pressing ‘P’ will alternate between Pen and Node, why they are different by default makes no sense to me I just changed the key assignments to match Affinity Designer, you do that in Preferences: keyboard shortcuts. Gear maker
When in the pen tool if you hold down the cmd on a mac (probably control on a PC) it will be in the node tool until the key is released. If you want to actually switch out of the pen tool then use as it states above. Fotographer
I thank you both. Affinity works like no other drawing program I have used. This take some getting use to.
