homeyJay Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Is there any way to just tile 2 open documents so they both take 50% of the workspace in any Affinity app? I'm working on a project where I need to refer to another document continuously and its getting annoying having to flip screens all the time! Quote
Joachim_L Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Window -> Float (all). But this is not well solved. Arranging the documents is a mess. Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
homeyJay Posted May 12, 2020 Author Posted May 12, 2020 Yeah, found this and arranging the docs gets old fast! Quote
GarryP Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 You could export the document you want to refer to and then open that exported document in another application, e.g. Acrobat Reader or whatever. Then use whatever functionality your OS has (you didn’t specify which you were using) to set the two applications side-by-side on your screen. Quote
homeyJay Posted May 13, 2020 Author Posted May 13, 2020 Thanks but I need to take bits off one and paste onto the other! Using windows btw! Quote
GarryP Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Would using Assets help, rather than copy/paste? Quote
