Dazmondo77 Posted May 12, 2020 Posted May 12, 2020 Firstly - Really really pleased we can now have a global palette setup to open as an always available standard for all new jobs --- ACE! Just come across a bug related to a path with multiple strokes: it seems that only the fill and last stroke edited are bound to global so when changing a global colours value directly from the swatches panel, the changes don't reflect on some strokes - see attached vid grab - I also tried setting all three strokes to the same global colour but only the last edited stroke updated - the work around seems to be to select the offending stroke in the appearance panel then change it's global colour from the "Colour" palette which seems to update the colour in the swatches panel Screen_Recording_2020-05-12_at_14_09_35.mov Celia at Grafted Works 1 Quote Mac Pro Cheese-grater (Early 2009) 2.93 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon 48 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC Ram, Sapphire Pulse Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5, Ugee 19" Graphics Tablet Monitor Triple boot via OCLP 1.4.3 - Mac OS Monterey 12.7.3, Sonoma 14.1.1 and Mojave 10.14.6 Affinity Publisher, Designer and Photo 1.10.5 - 2.4.0 Betas 2.5.0(2430) www.bingercreative.co.uk
Staff Sean P Posted May 12, 2020 Staff Posted May 12, 2020 Hi Dazmondo77, Thanks for letting us know - it is something we're aware off and with development to be looked at it. The actual issue is that changing a global colour will only update the fill if it is selected (has the white dot next to it) in the Appearance Panel. If you select the fill first in the Appearance Panel then changing the Global Colour will affect that, however I understand that is counter-intuitive to how the Global Colours should work!
