sourov
If Affinity software's interface will just like Adobe it will good for understanding. And most of us used to use adobe so, it will be better if you guys make the interface and the icon like adobe. Or a option to select a interface. Like davinci resolve do - https://prnt.sc/sfaser And I take a trial of the product but some big illustrator file can't be edited with affinity. RNKLN
I sincerely hope it will never become more similar to Adobe product's interfaces. telemax, Ron P., emmrecs01 and 5 others 8 Quote Affinity Photo - Affinity Designer - Affinity Publisher | macOS Sonoma (14.2) on 16GB MBP14 2021 with 2.3 versions

I used the Adobe products quite a long time and had no problems. 40 minutes ago, sourov said: And I take a trial of the product but some big illustrator file can't be edited with affinity. AI files need to be saved with a PDF stream to be edited in Affinity. The specifications for AI are not public, so there is nothing that Serif can do here. But if your file is saved with the PDF stream, it seems to use some functions Affinity has not. In this case posting the AI here for investigation would be good. jmwellborn 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
sourov
I also told that, if there is a option to pick a interface.... Like davinci resolve do - https://prnt.sc/sfaser they give a option to pick a interface on your own. I know many people now used to with the interface And they love the interface. But, many people will come who know the adobe interface better. So, if there is a option to change the workspace then it would be better for them. As i show you davinci give a facility to change the interface. They have their own interface. It's awesome. But, many people like adobe interface. emmrecs01
@sourov No. There is no option within any of the Affinity apps to choose a different interface. The only choice left to the user is between a Dark and a Light GUI. Like earlier responders to your question, I see very little point, if any, in Serif even attempting to emulate any Adobe interface. They are completely different apps, with a number of similar features. Jeff They are not completely different apps, they are matching and and giving alternative options for Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. The big thing I would love for them to directly copy from Adobe is how Adobe handles colour in Indesign and Illustrator. I find the Affinity way mind boggling and not intuitive. Of course that is subject, but as a long time Adobe user who makes his living with Adobe CC, this is a real headache and one, among other, reason I could not use Affinity for pro work yet. There is no practical way to make everything look like Adobe because a lot of things are implemented differently (or not at all) in Affinity compared to how Adobe implements them.
