MartinP26 Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Hi team, I'm trying to export plans that I've drawn in Affinity Designer to SVG format but am having an issue. Drawing the plans was easy as is using Designer, I created a new Web Document of 1920 x 1080 as they will be displayed in a maximised browser on a HD monitor. However when I export to SVG I see that the 'stroke-width:' has different values to what I set them to in Designer, 16.67px as opposed to 1px, 4px or 8px. The resulting SVG renders perfectly but I wanted to know how I get the export to write out exactly what I've set in my .afdesign files please? Most of the x, y, width and height values in the SVG are also not as I set them, they have decimal places, 497.51, as opposed to 497. How do I get Designer to always snap to pixels and stop using decimals please as I thought I'd be able to draw and export to exact pixel co-ordinates and sizes? Stay safe and well all. Kind regards Martin Quote
firstdefence Posted May 11, 2020 Posted May 11, 2020 Re pixel snapping you need to turn off Move by whole pixels in the snapping settings. Re the stroke width This might be because of the view box setting try turning the set view box option to off when exporting, it’s under the More options and check the stroke widths then.
