How do I access Photo from Designer to edit an open document on iPad

Recommended Posts

I’m probably missing something, but I can’t find a way to transfer a document that is open in Designer on iPad into Photo for further editing.  I can do this on the MacBook, but can’t find the corresponding menu items on the iPad.

Can anyone point me in the right direction, please?

I tried searching the forum, but did not find an answer....

Regards

Thanks.  I really hope the difference between the iPad and desktop apps goes away soon.

Pretty sure it is an IOS,IPadOS limitation due to the extra protection the iPad provides over a MAC or a PC. There is another way however, on the Affinity Photo home screen press your project until it wiggles, swipe up from the bottom of the screen with a finger on your other hand and open Affinity Designer then drop the project on the Designer home screen and visa versa. However saving the project file to a iCloud location is the best method as then you can freely switch to editing on your MAC or iPad in either program.
