Have a two question that hopefully I will get response to.
1. When going to my external hard drive to open an image all it shows is IMG_ CR2. Why doesnt it provide me an image so I know what I'm opening? And second, every time I open a RAW file now the sky is completely blown out even though I had never edited the image. The sky in a bright red and yellow.  I'm guessing on the sky that somewhere along the line I changed a setting but I have been unable to find anything.

Does that happen only with files on that drive? Does it happen only with your CR2 files?

What OS do you use?

For #2, sorry, no thoughts at this time.

Hi Snowcap1,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
1. I believe you are referring to the thumbnails? What OS are you using? macOS or Windows?
2. Check if you have Show Clipped
Highlights, Shadows and Tones buttons/toggles enabled in the top right of the interface in Develop Persona (this is the default Persona interface shown when you open a RAW file). Click on them again to turn them off.
