suew Posted May 10, 2020 Share Posted May 10, 2020 I am unable to get a clean transparent image. As you can see by attached image, there is a darker transparency surrounding image. It is definitely not clear. What am I doing wrong? The background was white and I used the remove white paper filter then exported. In your export options, the Matte should be void (white slashed by a red line),as when there's no colour in the Colour panel). But it always has a white or even a grey background after the export. I tried to export a PNG, GIF and TIF, it does not work. suew Posted May 14, 2020 Author Share Posted May 14, 2020 Follow the same directions Paul gave me and then export. Your png should work. I am not sure why the gif and tif do not work though. I never had the coloration box from transparent images in other programs but Paul’s direction is a good workaround for images with layers.
