CodyHill Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Hi, I just bought Affinity Designer and I received a texture pack with it. My question is - How do I import it in Affinity? Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. On the page where you downloaded the brushes and textures there was also a Resources section. One of the resources was a PDF file named Instructions, which tells you how to work with the brushes and the textures. If you did not save that, you can get it again by visiting https://affinity.store/account/downloads Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. CodyHill Posted May 10, 2020 Author Posted May 10, 2020 Thank you! I thought that there is a way I could store the textures inside Affinity. Quote
walt.farrell Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 You're welcome. You can, probably, also store textures as Assets, but that is not how those textures were designed to be used. (You might still be able to open them as shown in the instructions, and then drag layers from them into the Assets panel. I haven't played with that.)
