Hello,

since I have updated my Affinity Suite (Designer, Photo and Publisher) to version 1.8.3
ALL default shortcuts don't work.

NO CTRL+C, CTRL+V, CTRL+S .... nothing.

Please assist as soon as possible.

Working with Affinity Suite is currently no fun .

Regards, Henning

I'm having the same issue. I'll be working in Designer, using keyboard shortcuts, when they suddenly just...stop working. Shortcuts in other programs still work, and I can create and type into a text field, but no shortcuts. Saving, closing and restarting seems to fix it temporarily, but it's getting really annoying.

For reference, I'm using a Dell computer less than 2 years old, in the U.S.

Same here! I add some shortcuts of my own in preferences and everything works perfectly, but when I open the program and start working again my customized shortcuts are gone. I have to go to preferences again to rewrite the same thing all over again,  Any help on this, please?

Did you save your custom shortcut set before closing the app? At least this should allow reloading, – easier than manually reassigning them.

Did you properly close the program after setting your shortcuts. Many (most? all?) of the Affinity options seem not to be permanently saved until the program is successfully closed.

First thing I would to do after assigning a new shortcut:  as with assets swatches and brushes, and hopefully once we have 1.9, studio presets, - Export - Make an Affinity settings folder to store all your settings in, then either overwrite or (safest) date the export - if you have some really crucial assets (or any other settings) you have built, save then quit app as you will usually find that if Affinity bombs while in the middle of building a job asset library, theres a strong chance you'll re-start Affinity and you've lost the lot -
