hi,

i ve a problem with lasso tool in Frequency separation 

Work one or 2 time and now no more

1/ duplicate background

2/ frequency separation

3/ new layer above low frequency

4 / new layer above high frequency and make a group

5/ on new layer above low frequency lasso tool on place i want to fix 

6 / filter/ Gaussian blur / increase amount nothing

 

i suppose problem with my new layer because work perfectly on the low frequency layer directly 

on new layer above low frequency all tool work well as stamp tool i just check current layer + below

Hi Bardanis!

Your printscreen doesnt give a clear view of your layers.
But it seems that you are trying to apply a gaussian blur to an empty layer.

See if this solves your problem:
1) Duplicate "Low Frequency" and "High Frequency" by pressing Ctrl+J.
2) Change the blend mode of "High Frequency" and "High Frequency COPY" to Normal and group them.
3) Change the blend mode of the group to "Linear light"
