Irael Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 (edited) So basically i have this weird problem where i can't tap on anything in the app other than the left toolbar. Whenever i try to do something or change something, i see that the tap went through, but the change immediately reverts back. for example, if i try to create a polygon and change the amount of sides, i see that the slider goes up but then imediatly resets back to 5. This is happening with everything other than the left toolbar. I tried removing and reinstalling the app - it didn't work. btw, this is on ipad pro 11 inch 2018 model. Edited May 10, 2020 by Irael

You may have zapped your iPad with static electricity and affected the screen calibration, don’t worry, if you perform a Forced Restart it will recalibrate the hardware. Forced Restart Whenever an iPad misbehaves the first thing to try is closing all open apps, then forcing a restart. Note, forcing a restart is NOT the same as turning it off and on. Most IOS devices benefit from doing this once or twice a week. No data is lost when doing this but it can fix many problems. Method On older iPads this is done by pressing home and power buttons continuously until you see the Apple logo. On new iPads it is volume up, volume down then press power until Apple logo appears, https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/ipad/ipad63d30b5a/ios My Affinity Devices Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 2.6.5 Beta on M1 iPad Pro 11” using iPadOS 26.1 Beta Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 1.10 and 2.6.4 Beta on M1 Mac Mini 16GB 1TB using macOS Tahoe 26 Beta Affinity Photo, Designer, Publisher 1.10 and 2.6.4 Beta on Fujitsu Celsius W410 32GB 1TB using Windows 10 Pro.
