ipad affinity designer always crashes

hey there,

I reallyy love the affinity designer but im so frustrated because this is the 20th time I have had to repaint something because it crashes after 2 minutes of drawing. I am using the vector dry brushes on a 768 x 1024 pt RGB canvas. I have already deleted all the apps I don't use, cleared space on my iPad, restarted several times and updated the latest version. HELPPP!!!

You said you have restarted but did you try Forced Restart rather than just switching off then on?

Forced Restart 
Whenever an iPad misbehaves the first thing to try is closing all open apps, then forcing a restart. Note, forcing a restart is NOT the same as turning it off and on. Most IOS devices benefit from doing this once or twice a week. No data is lost when doing this but it can fix many problems.

Method
On older iPads this is done by pressing home and power buttons continuously until you see the Apple logo. 
On new iPads it is volume up, volume down then press power until Apple logo appears,
