Skyrideruk Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 (edited) Hi, Currently, when using Split/Mirror views to compare the 'before & 'after' effects, the 'after' view appears on the left side of the screen, with the 'before' image on the right side. For whatever reason, this feels unnatural to me: I would prefer the 'before' image on the left side, with the 'after' image on the right side, please. Also, would it be possible to include this facility in the Photo Persona? Thanks, Doug Edited May 9, 2020 by Skyrideruk Added 'Photo Persona'. Pšenda 1 Quote
Pšenda Posted May 10, 2020 Posted May 10, 2020 Interestingly, the description in Help respects this (correct) logic. Border Terrier Owner Posted September 30, 2020 Posted September 30, 2020 Can I add my voice to this. I read left to right, before to after. I am not going to say that all similar editing programs read left to right but the majority seem to. To be able to set upa a personal preference would certainly tick the box! Pšenda 1 Quote

fde101 Posted October 1, 2020 Posted October 1, 2020 Even better would be to have the option to flip it either way, as well as to make the split vertical (top/bottom) rather than horizontal (left/right) depending on the task at hand. The only way I could realistically see this happening would be to add it to individual adjustment layers and/or live filters, as Photo by nature is "destructive" and there would be nothing to compare to in most cases when working in the Photo persona. Let me just add that this is a natural perception for others as well.
