Paul Wild
Hi Is there a way of copying an object and paste in line at equal distances multiple copies of the original? Original x8 for instance Edited May 8, 2020 by Paul Wild add line
Old Bruce
Yes, it is a bit tricky to describe. Select the object, make a duplicate and now with the duplicate still selected use the transform panel to change the x and y co-ordinates. With the object still selected duplicate it again and again ad infinitum. Search for Power Duplicate here in the forums for further help. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
GarryP
Or, as an alternative to what Old Bruce said above, you can duplicate the object as many times as you want, select all the copies (including the original), and use the Distribution functions in the Alignment pop-up (see attached image). There may be other methods but we would need more specific information to say for certain. Paul Wild
