BMac
...trying right now... Seems to be working here. Everything seem to be running ok with the latest beta ?
ChadStyle
I'm hesitant to install...everything good, guys? Yosemite didn't have this many updates to the betas nor as frequently. Apple is really hustling to fix bugs and get this rolled out it seems.
jonnyfreedom
The Affinity Designer beta is working pretty stable on my iMac. About to jump into Photo. I'll post results in a bit. BMac
jonnyfreedom
Okay, so I got a warning as soon as I tried to open Affinity Photo - something along the line of "Affinity Photo will damage your computer, please move it to the trash." Wow! I've never seen that one before. Not sure how to proceed! Edit (Screenshot):
Staff MattP Posted August 5, 2015 Staff Share Posted August 5, 2015 Hi jonnyfreedom, I've heard of that error before - but never seen it... I think it's something to do with what level of things you've got selected for Gatekeeper (in your system preferences -> privacy) if it's too conservative it thinks everything will make your computer fail with the exception of things you download from the App Store... Rest assured, it's not going to damage your computer! (Otherwise there would be an awful lot of damaged computers out there!) ;) Matt
jonnyfreedom
Yeah. Changing Gatekeeper did the trick. Thanks! Jon MattP
