Rondem
Hi. Is it normal that the Curve adjustment in CMYK is making the image darker when in this position. Because in RGB mode, it lightens the image. emmrecs01
@Rondem Having tested this in both the latest release and latest beta versions (and I am definitely no expert) the behaviour is the same, i.e. the seeming opposite of what might be expected! Wosven
It's possible the answer will be the same as for the Level adjustement: it's working in reverse because CMYK work differently than RGB*. For users, used to move the curves/sliders in the same way for RGB and CMYK in other apps, it's particulary difficult, like walking backward… * RGB is additive and CMYK is substractive. Quite normal yes. These animations from Adobe Photoshop CC 2020 shows a curves user interface that "explains" it a little more visually: RGB - as you know it CMYK - reversed Quote "The user interface is supposed to work for me - I am not supposed to work for the user interface."
