Cannot change the shortcuts for decrease and increase brush size in Pixel persona

I need to change the keyboard shortcuts for the Increase and Decrease Brush Size action in the Pixel persona because of a French keyboard .

 

1. Go to Preferences > Keyboard Shortcut
2. Select "Pixel" in the first menu and "Paint Brush Tool" in the second menu (or any tool with variable size)
3. Change the keyboard shortcuts for the "Increase and Decrease Brush Size" shortcuts to your liking
4. Close preferences
5. Check that the new shortcuts work as expected (they should)
6. Quit Designer
7. Reopen Designer
8. Goto Preferences > Keyboard Shortcuts
9. Select the tool you've changed the shortcuts
10. The increase and decrease brush size shortcuts reverted to [ and ]

 

This only happens with the Pixel persona tools, NOT the Designer persona tools.

Hi Sean, I am running AF 1.8.3.641 on win10: brush width/hardness shortcuts, Alt+right button+drag left/right/up/down do not work. Any solution? Thanks

The issue "[macOS] Keyboard shortcut for Pixel Category > Tools doesn't save after a restart" (REF: AF-206) has been fixed by the developers in internal build "2.3.0.2083".
This fix should soon be available as a customer beta and is planned for inclusion in the next customer release.
