Sephen
Hi, I've got an issue with AD & AP. And that is that white text is automatically set to overprint. just create a file in AD with e.g. just a colored rectangle and a white text on top, then import that .afdesign file in AP and export it to pdf. Multiple printers have called me to say that the pdf is "corrupt". the preview seems ok but when they output the file the white is set to overprint. When you convert the text to curves it is knocked out? But converting to curves isn't always possible. Is there a menu like AI to see what is set to overprint and what not? GarryP
I don’t know much abut this area but you can set a Global Colour to Overprint by right-clicking on the swatch in the Swatches Panel and choosing “Overprint” from the menu (see attached image). If this doesn’t do what you need then please post back and someone else should be able to help further.
