Export Size Presets

     When working in AD, I usually have to export many different sizes of a design. I go to File-Export and manually type in the size, then I just do it over and over again for all the diferent sizes. When I have to do a lot of them it's kind of a pain.

     Is there any way to save the different sizes as presets or something like that ?

Welcome to Affinity Forums.

You can already to this if you use Slices/Export Persona (including saving presets - menu on top right of the Slices panel).

Is there a way to save a copy of my slice preset, just in case something happen to my machine?

Welcome to Affinity Forums

Set up the slice as you wish then click the small menu icon on the top right of the Slices panel and select Create export setup preset. You can then access it from the Export preset dropdown almost on top of the Slices panel.

I got that, but how do I export the preset i create to another machine for example? Is it possible?

Also I noticed I cannot "export" the setting from Photo to Designer as well.

This could be an useful thing to have in a future version.

Can't you just copy the Presets file to...

1. Back it up. 
2. Transfer it to another computer.

 

The location of the presets etc is:

• Windows: 
  • Affinity Photo (APh): C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Photo\1.0\user\export_config.dat
  • Affinity Designer (ADe): C:\Users\{your username}\AppData\Roaming\Affinity\Designer\1.0\user\export_config.dat (Location Assumption)
• Mac:
  • Affinity Designer (ADe): /Users/{Your User Name}/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/Users/
  • Affinity Photo (APh) : /Users/{Your User Name}/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinityphoto/Data/Library/Application Support/Users/
