brunoczech Posted May 5, 2020 Share Posted May 5, 2020 Hi guys, I'm having a big problem with exporting files that include BMP images. The output size of this file is 809 x 622px. There are 3 bitmap images inserted into this files. The largest one has original size 1920 x 1080. When exporting to PNG the text within the BMP images get distorted - top of the letters are missing, it just looks strange. Check the files - the finished one is from Publisher and the other one which I just created was exported as PNG from InDesign. It looks much better. Still not exactly readable as client wants but it probably won't be possible in this size anyway. However - it is more readable than the Publisher file. I've got better results when creating files twice the size, exporting at 1618 x 1244 and then resampling in AP to the smaller size. For some reason client cannot use these larger (perfectly readable) files for web. They just need the small ones. What gives? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
