BD Weisel Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 (edited) I researched but could not find any hints or a solution on how to create a TOC entry using title words on separate lines. Example: Chapter 1 Emigrants Chapter 1: Emigrants ...........................8 Chapter 2: Lesja Farms .......................12 Is this format possible? Thanks, bdw Edited May 4, 2020 by BD Weisel
Old Bruce Posted May 4, 2020 Posted May 4, 2020 Hi @BD Weisel and welcome to the forums, To be clear; you want Chapter 1 + Emigrants in there twice and Chapter 2: Lesja Farms only the one time? Are they in the text only the once? I would try putting them in twice in a frame (above the main text frame in the layers panel so as to get the ordering right) and turn off the second text frame in the layers panel. Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6 Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
BD Weisel Posted May 4, 2020 Author Posted May 4, 2020 I'm attaching a better example. I've read all chapters should have a number, and I would like to implement both a chapter number and title. thanks, bdw
Staff Callum Posted May 20, 2020 Staff Posted May 20, 2020 Hi BD Weisel, Welcome to the forums If you setup Pagination in your document then you should get your TOC to display titles and numbers. Thanks C Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
JDM Posted September 6, 2020 Posted September 6, 2020 BDW, I have the same question. Did you ever solve this? James
