When using Wacom Cintiq, I can't click in document, only drag

Recommended Posts

I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I cannot click with the pen IN the actual document, for example, when using the pen tool.  Every time I mean to simply click it is always a drag.  This is especially irritating when trying to hold Alt and change the way the control handles behave (straight vs. bezier) as I always have to take my pen off the screen, hold Alt, then click with my mouse.

Is there currently a workaround for this? Is this a common issue?

Hi Garth Laidlaw,

Unfortunately there have been a few issues we're aware of using Windows Ink that are causing issues when trying to click to insert nodes and use other features. If you go to Edit > Preferences > Tools and uncheck 'Use Windows Ink for tablet input' you should be able to click inside the document and use it normally!
