Jhastine
Is there any problem with the latest version? I can't install it. I'm using Windows 10 version and meet all the system requirements.
walt.farrell
Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. You're running a very old version of Windows 10, that apparently hasn't been updated since 2015. Affinity requires at least version 1607 Anniversary update or higher. You should be able to update your Windows system to get to a newer version by using Windows Update. (1909 is current). stokerg 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.

wonderings
I am surprised you have not been forced to update. I believe with the Windows 10 Home edition you do not have the option to turn off updates, or if they are on you cannot shut down or restart without running the update. I could be wrong on that, I do know that is what happens on a Windows 10 running in a virtual machine that runs the RIP to one of our Wide formats. Whenever an update comes along and I want to restart I have no option but to run the update.
ChrisVie
There are some simple ways to prevent Windows updates. For example by faking a metered connection or stopping the Windows Update service. regards, Chris
