LilleG
How and where is the toolbar icon "Synchronize Defaults From Selection" used?
Dave Harris
"Defaults" here refers to the formatting properties such as fill, stroke, and font that new objects will get when you create them. Normally they are whatever you set them to most recently. Synchronize causes them to be set from the currently selected object. It's one way to get them back to a known-good state, by selecting a known-good object and then using it. Another use would be if you were drawing some lines at black, 1pt, solid, and other lines at 2pt, red, dashed. Whenever you wanted to switch from creating one kind of line to creating the other, you could select an existing line of the right format and synchronize from it. Ian R
It appears to start to work then after I place the second node it reverts to no stroke and no fill.
