petdoc03
I am trying to take two different letters (on separate layers) and subtract one letter from the other to leave a transparent "hole" in one of them. What I want to do is create a capital "R" and delete the shape of a lower case "s" so the background shows through on a T-shirt design. I have been trying to do this in affinity designer and I also have affinity photo so whatever software is easier to use is fine with me. Ultimately I need them in a vector format to be resized as part of a logo. Thank you in advance for your help!
GarryP
Welcome to the forums. Here’s a quick video showing some techniques. If this isn’t close to what you want then you might have to give more details. 2020-05-03 14-02-59.mp4 petdoc03
telemax
Use non-destructive booleans. Hold Alt, before boolean operation.
