shortcut to select object in artboard

Recommended Posts

Current workflow:

1. move mouse to artboard tool in tool bar, click icon

2. switch to artboard area, double click artboard name

3. use move tool to select object

How can I quickly select an object in artboard?

And is there a shortcut for artboard tool? I'm using mac, I try to add system shortcut but failed, cause there is no artboard tool menu item.

Not work, layers are not locked.

Since your Artboard "H" includes "Layer33" which is a "(Layer)" container type of layer, you will need to enable the "Edit All Layers" option to select anything on another artboard when something on Artboard "H" is currently selected.

The "Edit All Layers" option is enabled by clicking on the tiny icon at the bottom left of the Layers panel:
