To all the color management experts here, I really need some technical advice guys. I created a PDF using PDF (flatten) option, which I think is the best for web use where the images are not compressed.

  1. I exported to PDF from Affinity
  2. Used Kindle Create to convert that PDF to .mobi

Here's how the results look.

  • How the converted image looks on Kindle Previewer
  • How the PDF looks on monitor

The first image is saturated! It hurts my eyes. Can this simply be just color enhancements done by Kindle Create or is there a color conversion issue when exporting to PDF.

Hi Nirdesha,

I suspect this will be something the Kindle Create is doing.  As the exported PDF is fine and it's only when its processed by another app it goes wrong.  But this isn't something I've done before, usually they will have a a spec for the PDF files that are uploaded. Have you checked for a requirements list and made sure you are matching whats required?
