You can create any combination of dots & dashes using the Appearance Panel, multiple strokes, a maths degree and 4 cups of coffee.

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Thank you, actually I know that.
Just a feature request that DrawPlus or Illustrator can.

Looks like Affinity is already capable of showing two dot chain line even in V1.
If I open a SVG created by Inkscape that has two dot chain, it's shown properly.
So it's just missing UI for it?
I hope it will be added soon since it's already possible internally.

Hi - I'm pleased to say we have now added the ability to extend dash patter to 3 dashes and 3 gaps. Also can now create balanced dashed lines. This is available to test in the latest beta. There are more details in the post below and it would be great if you wanted to try it out in the beta and let us know what you think - you can sign up to the beta program here.
