obeydesign Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 I'm working on a huge text file and I'm aggravated I can't simply replace paragraph marks with tab marks, or similar. I don't see anywhere to "insert special character" other than the glyphs of the font that's being used. This is a common feature in Microsoft Word AND in InDesign. Anyone have a solution or answer? walt.farrell Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. The Find and Replace studio panel in Publisher allows searching for paragraph marks (in the Find section) and a similar function will allow you to replace with a tab in the Replace section: Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
