asmythe Posted April 30, 2020 Posted April 30, 2020 Hi, I have tried using the clone stamp on different JPEGs by cloning on the background layer at 100% opacity and 100% hardness. When I alt click it sets the point but there is no preview in the brush circle and I have to paint over the destination spot a number of times before the cloned image starts to build up on the picture. Do I have one of the settings wrong? Quote

One of the things we cant see is the brush you are using, check that the brush is set to a solid brush and not something like a patterned brush that may have, for example, a low Accumulation (opacity) setting Chris B 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. asmythe Posted May 1, 2020 Author Posted May 1, 2020 Well done, that does the trick - I assumed the clone tool auto selected its own brush. Helpful thank you. Quote

That probably explains an issue I was having with the Clone Tool the other day while trying to answer a question.
