jdjames13
Hi All I am new to Affinity designer and i am trying to simply select objects within other layers using the node tool as shown in the basic tutorials that Affinity designer offer but i am unable to do this. If you watch from 2:10 on this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJUgJ-Pjhk4 When i do this it simply ignores the action and stays on the current layer as if it were locked or hidden. Any ideas? Edited April 30, 2020 by jdjames13

jdjames13
Thanks for your reply, these are all individual curves (not in groups) and i cant just click them. I need to first select the layer which is annoying to do. Must be a setting somewhere?
jdjames13
I have found out what it is, it is the stylus pen i am using, it don't select the layer as expected using a physical pen. However, with a mouse it is fine. Is there any setting which may assist or is it a bug?
Ray S.
I assuming you are on windows and use a wacom tablet. If so then go to the preferences and turn of "use windows ink for tablet input". It could be that the pressure sensitivity don't work. I'am not sure why that is but it shouldn't be.
jdjames13
Im on a surface go pc with a pen so dont have that option. I messed with a few of the pen / touch settings but didnt really make a difference. I think i'll stick to the mouse for vectoring and just use the pen for certain brushes. Thanks for your help 😀
