Seaway Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 (edited) In Affinity Photo version 1.8.3.641, why can't the macro command execute the "layer merge" command? Macro recording is turned on, and the layer merge command and layer right-click menu are blocked. The original version is available, most of the library commands I created are invalid, and now image processing is completely inefficient..☹️ *Use Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit Edited April 29, 2020 by Seaway Quote
walt.farrell Posted April 29, 2020 Posted April 29, 2020 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Are you saying that before 1.8.3.641 you were able to create macros that used those functions? If so, what is the last release where you used them? (Also, if a function that was previously working has stopped working, probably you should have posted in Photo Bugs found on Windows (or Mac, depending). The time is too long, and the memory is a little vague. I created macro commands in versions 1.79 ~ 1.8. The original version is usable and completely normal. Yesterday, I found that the macro command could not be executed when processing the picture. (use: 1.8.3.641). After careful inspection, I found that the macro recorder cannot record the "Merge Down" command of the layer. The "Merge Down" command created before version 1.8.3 cannot be executed. After opening the macro record button, the "Merge Down" command cannot be used ! If it is a bug, I hope to resolve it as soon as possible, which is really a disaster for me (T_T) Quote
