Petechad
When straightening an image, selection of crop tool overlays a grid, subsequently activating straighten removes the grid. Is there away to retain the grid whilst straightening?
Staff MEB Posted July 26, 2015 Staff Share Posted July 26, 2015 Hello Petechad, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) No, currently there's no way to keep the grid visible while straightening. Petechad
Will this be incorporated in an update? I feel this is an essential feature when straightening/leveling an image.
Petechad
A useful alternative would be to have a "custom rotate" tool in the Document menu.
LilleG
If you want to keep the grid, instead of using the straighten tool, use the double-headed arrow just above the grid to rotate the image left or right. The image will rotate and the grid will remain vertical. Petechad and peter
