cimerio Posted April 28, 2020 Posted April 28, 2020 hello, where is the Duplicate object or Duplicate layer shortcut in Preferences? I didn't find it. Quote
cimerio Posted May 1, 2020 Author Posted May 1, 2020 thank you. I think that a search box for shortcuts would be a good implementation. Quote
G13RL Posted May 1, 2020 Posted May 1, 2020 You're welcome! You're right, it's not easy to quickly find the one you're looking for. Quote

In macOS you can type a command in the Help Search to get its according menu / sub-menu displayed. The menu commands are ordered this way in the shortcut preference menus, too. cimerio 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1

The keyboard shortcuts in the Preferences are listed in sections based on the menu entries. So, for anything that has a menu entry, to find a keyboard shortcut you just find how you would perform it using the menu, and that tells you where to look in the Preferences. cimerio 1 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
