I can't find a Share button in Designer on iPad.

Do I really have to change the default save location from iPad to iCloud and save a new copy of a file just to be able to export it to iCloud?

(Also, since when is "close" the same as "delete"? Absolutely crazy, imo.)

Actually it’s not.
Closing in iPad Affinity is same as closing an unsaved tab in Desktop. You have to have saved a file on iPad version in order to create a (.afdesign) file. Once a file is created is can be copied, moved, saved, closed and or deleted.

If you want to save a new copy to iCloud or any other non default location, use the Document menu Save a Copy Option. Navigate to any folder or cloud service and save it there. When you Open from Cloud and navigate to that new copy, open and edit, you will now have a Save option in the Document menu to save to that copy.

When you export a file the Share button is located at bottom left of Export screen.

Procreate handles the gallery so much better than Affinity.

I was not able to find any way to navigate when I did save a copy.

But you can't export in the .afdesigner format!

(Man, quoting stuff in this forum sucks too... I tried to cut and paste text from the above comment in order to reply to each statement, but all I got was some random numbers.)

Maybe you didn’t tap Save. That’s when the navigation comes up.

Tap on text and drag the blue highlights. Quote button appears. Tap quote and selected text is quoted 🙂
