Affinity Publisher PDF export font is bold

Hello everyone,

I use Affinity Publisher 1.8.3 under macOS Catalina.

When I export a document as PDF (default settings), the font is exported thicker than shown in the Publisher document. 

If I export the fonts as curves, the font thickness is correct. 

Am I missing something, is this intentional or a bug?

I have opened both documents with preview under Mac OS Mojave: looks identical. 

I have opened both documents with Acrobat Reader under Mac OS Catalina: looks just a little different

So, yes, it looks like a Catalina (preview.app) related problem. Strange...
