Fonts are not working correctly

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm experiencing an issue with a font from Google Fonts. Affinity software (Photo/Designer) isn't letting me to choose a different font style. I see Regular, Regular, Regular, Regular, Regular and Regular instead of Extra Light, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold and Bold. The font supports multiple styles and works in every other software I tried. Resetting text styles doesn't help.
The font can be downloaded here.
I also took a screensgot of the issue.

Are you downloading and using the individual weights of Oswald, or are you trying to use the single variable version of the font?

It sounds like you are trying to use the single variable version. As Affinity applications do not support variable fonts, they show up as a single style.

So if this is a case of trying to use the variable font version, uninstall it. Install the other versions.
