Henry_searching Posted April 27, 2020 Posted April 27, 2020 Hey Affinity forum, I'm using the AP version 1.8.3 and prepared a Thai text written in with the font 'CS ChatThaiUI' (problem occured using other fonts as well). In another forum I learned to set 'Charakters' -> 'Language' -> 'typography sript' to 'Thai' to get all leves of tone-marks displayed on my canvas (.afpub-file) correctly. Once exporting the file to pdf (used setting 'for export') the tone-marks are floating all over the place (different to the .afpub file). Using the Export-Setting 'Embedded fonts' - 'Texts to curves' solves that problem, but creates a new one by increasing the size of the pdf-file by an extra 70 %. Is there a fix to get an exported pdf-file that doesn't increase the file's size unproportionally?
