Clicking on the Perspective Tool in the Tool Bar shows grid and dialogue box and does Nothing But later it works properly. Have tried with very small files with exactly the same results. Have tried changing rendering in presets (e.g. metal on Metal off, reduced render quality etc.) No improvement in results. Sometimes non responding corner will start to work after waiting several minutes but never get all 4 corners to respond. Macbook pro, Mojave, 1.8.4 release and 1.9 beta. The op was using live perspective projection which is complex to work with but was superseded for many but not all tasks by the live perspective filter, did you try that instead ?
