Hola,

Hello,

First of all I wanted to apologize for writing in Spanish, but my level of English is low.

I would like to know if there is an option to create a negative mask in Designer or Photo. For example, if I have a text and a background and I create the mask, the text will remain with the background texture and I mean the opposite, as if I were extracting the text from the background, as if it were a hole with the shape of the text.

Thank you very much in advance. Greetings to all

No need to apologize. There are many Spanish speakers here.

Hi Aens,
Welcome to Affinity Forums :)
The simplest way to do this is to set the Blend mode of the object you want to extract to Erase in the Blend dropdown on the top of the Layers panel - this however will "delete" the text from all objects below it. If you want to affect just a single object (like the texture placed immediately below - see clip below) group the text with the texture. This works in Designer, Publisher and Photo.
