Cloning yourself in the same photo

Hi,

I,ve been trying to do multiple photos of me in the same photo.Have watched a basic tutuorial and have just about got my head around how to do it.What the video didn,t show was how to save the finished photo.Haved saved by clicking the x in the top right of the work window but when In open it again it opens up into Affinty.How do I save it so that does not happen please? Many thanks.

If you "save" an image you'll get an .afphoto file.  To get an image file you need to use "export" and then select the format you want, probably jpeg.  If you want to use a different program to open the image, right click on the file and select the program.  That's for Windows - I don't know how it's done on a Mac.

What Ian said is the same for Mac.

First off, you do not "save" by clicking the X. This is how you close out the file you are working on. Developers made this safer as people would close out without saving. When you want to save do it safely and go File>Save. The rest just follow what IanSG has said.
