Starry Vere Posted April 22, 2020 Share Posted April 22, 2020 I purchased and downloaded Affinity Photo, from the Affinity web site, onto my Mac laptop. The programme is there and usable but once I turn off the computer and then restart there is no sign of it. I have to go into Finder and click the DMG file to 'wake it up'. The Affinity icon does not appear in Launchpad. Surely this is not normal procedure. Can anyone help please. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
mac_heibu Posted April 22, 2020 Share Posted April 22, 2020 After double clicking the dmg file, you have to drag the appearing application file into your „Applications“ folder. If you don‘t do this, the application only starts on the virtual dmg drive, which you have activated by double clicking the dmg file.
