pete hoag
I am trying to load a pdf file so that I can copy the text into a new document, however when I place the pdf on a separate page I cannot edit it easily. Every single line of text is its own text frame which make it impossible to copy the text. Any ideas? Thanks. Pete Hoag
Joachim_L
Just one question ahead: Why don't you simply use the text selection tool inside a/any PDF reader? This would be much quicker than placing the PDF. If you still insist on placing the PDF in Affinity (which app?), you can open (not place) the PDF. By doing so you to check the options "Favour editable text over fidelity" and "Group lines of text into text frames". Now copying the text should be easier, but this does not work in every case, because sometimes the text frames are grouped a bit "weird". sfriedberg 1 Quote ------ Windows 10 | i5-8500 CPU | Intel UHD 630 Graphics | 32 GB RAM | Latest Retail and Beta versions of complete Affinity range installed
