ARG
Hello, I am using Affinity Designer on iPad. I am looking to create a diecut sticker with an outline. I’m aware of how to get the first outline, but not an outline of that outline. I am using text. Is this possible to do? At first I converted to curves, duplicated the text and set the main text on top. I added the stroke line to the bottom layer and attempted the expand stroke, but nothing happened. Any help would be appreciated!
DM1
I’ve never done die-cut drawing so I may be totally wrong here, but If you are trying to create text with an outline on a transparent background (lets say black text with a white outline). You could do one of the following: 1. Convert text to curves then set the inner colour to black and the outline colour to white then use stroke studio to adjust the width of the lines so that you end up with black text, white outline and transparent background. 2. Type text. Duplicate text. Select one text layer and set fill colour to transparent. Set line colour to white (or whatever). Use stroke studio to expand the line width. Position duplicate text Layer over the enlarged text layer. (See recording starting with duplicated text and one grey background previously prepared).
