Imported brushes not showing up in categories

Hi heartsxspades_clothing,

There are two kinds of brushes in Designer: Raster and Vector. It will tell you on import whether it imported raster or vector brushes. Vector brushes get imported to the Designer Persona in the Brushes Panel, whereas raster brushes get imported into the Pixel Persona's Brushes Pane. It sounds like you've imported some Raster Brushes, so check the Pixel Persona.

Considering how often some users do not notice that, perhaps it would be better if it was more prominent?

Also, Affinity Photo really should not allow the import of vector brushes since while they will import & use file space, there is no way to access them in the app.

I agree Photo certainly shouldn't allow the import of Vector brushes. This is something we have already logged with development. With regards to making it more prominent I'm not entirely sure what could be done!
