Paul Mudditt
Can you upload the macros file here for others to test in case there is a problem with the file. Viola81
Hi Paul, yes there was a problem with the file. I had spaces and underscores in the names of the macros and that caused crashing in the iPad. Now the names have no spaces and no symbols and it works fine! thank you for your help Viola Paul Mudditt
DM1
@Viola81 it might still be useful to attach the files/file names. Spaces and symbols in name should not crash an app. Better to get a pop up with correct naming conventions. Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Staff Gabe Posted April 24, 2020 Staff Share Posted April 24, 2020 Hi all, I can't replicate this here. I tried loading a macro with underscores and spaces from iPad, iCloud and Dropbox and they load fine. Where were yours stored @Viola81? Also, don't forget to answer DM1's request. Viola81
I haven’t attached the file because I modified it when I resolved the issue. But I will create a new one later with the same kind of naming and attach it here so that you can test it out. I uploaded to affinity folder in my iCloud and then opened it from there from the iPad.
