Staff Patrick Connor Posted November 2, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 2, 2020 We have made fixes/improvements to this area (Crash when drawing with Pencil Tool) of the program in the latest customer beta. If you would like to try these changes the beta software is available in the forum post listed below. The latest beta build is downloadable from links at the top of each of these beta forum posts. Affinity Designer 1.9.0 beta for Mac This beta installs parallel, next to the release version (they do not overwrite your release) and so the fixes can be tried in the beta without affecting your normal workflow in the release version. Once our beta programs have been through a full beta process the change will be released in a future free 1.9.0 update/patch to all customers. Enrico87 Posted February 24, 2021 Share Posted February 24, 2021 For me this helped: I had the same issues whith the pen tool in Affinity Photo & Affinity Designer >> but after updating my windows Version to the latest the problem no longer exists.
